The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching how my girls develop their own morals, values, and personalities. I strive to have the biggest influence on them I possibly can. It could be teaching them kindness, forgiveness, and empathy, or teaching them grit, determination, and striving for excellence. I love seeing them grow and develop as individuals, as it helps me be a better father, husband, and man.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
We need to teach the next generation how to communicate, how to work, and how to care. I feel that there’s so much division in the world that it’s very important to teach our kids to stand strong in their values, while understanding others point of view. My father‘s only requirement of me was to “just be better than me“… this is what I would like for my daughters as well.
How would you use the $25,000?
Since I have resigned from my full-time job in order to support my wife and her career pursuits, I do not bring in the income I used to. My full-time job now is Dad, field trip chaperone, house manager and chaos coordinator. I would use the money to continue to support our community, parent-teacher organizations and investing in accounts for my children’s future.
