Aside from them running up to me so happy when I come home; watching the kids progress. First steps, first words, interacting with cousins, playing their first sport, competing, finding their creative side. I have a unique perspective as my youngest is 1.5 y/o and my oldest is 9 y/o. - its helping me stay in the moment and enjoy seeing them develop.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I lost both of my folks when I was young - there are a lot of memories that I have that I am so thankful for; I use those memories as an anchor of who I want to be as a dad. Including taking care of my health. I want to be able to sit down with my kids when they're adults and I am hoping that they come to me with all of their wins and losses when they're older and we can just talk and have a meaningful relationship.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to take an extended road trip and visit national parks across the country.
