The most rewarding part of being a dad is seeing my kids’ faces light up when they’re performing and spot me in the crowd. I love coming home from work and seeing how excited they are to see me. But what touches me most is when I’m away and they call asking, “Where are you? Are you okay?” Those simple words warm my heart because they remind me that, no matter where I am, I’m always on their minds. Being their dad is my greatest blessing.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because life isn’t always easy, but there is always joy and memories to be made. When money is tight, I’m honest with my kids, and we find ways to have fun without spending a dime. I want them to appreciate life in the good times and stay strong through the hard times. They rarely ask for much, and when they do, it’s something simple. That makes me want to give them the world. I may not have everything, but I’ll always give them my love, time, and everything
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won $25,000, I would use it to give my children opportunities and create memories that money has sometimes made difficult. I’d take care of important family needs, invest in their future, and put some aside for emergencies. Most importantly, I’d use part of it to make memories with my kids—traveling, experiencing new things, and showing them that hard work can open doors. This wouldn’t just be $25,000 to me; it would be an investment in my family’s future.
