Being able to continuously mature and evolve into a father. Like transitioning from a kid to a king. I just want my kids to have the best version of me that I never had growing up.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My dad chose not to be in my life even though he had the opportunity. My mom never shunned him away from being in my life. And neither did she eradicate me from his life. That left me with a lot of painful memories. Growing up not feeling wanted by the man that help bring me into this world left me with a lot of identity issues. So me being present in my kids lives is none negotiable. I know my kids will have many experiences in life. But never a deadbeat father who they felt neglected by.
How would you use the $25,000?
Honestly, I would add the money to my kids custodial accounts that I started for them recently. They are three and four years young. I want to set them up for greater opportunities at early ages. The struggle is real today, so I want them to have a head start when it comes to investing and being an entrepreneur.
