The most rewarding part of being a dad is learning what true love really means. You see yourself as a child again through your children. You appreciate the lessons your own parents gave you and the ones you now pass on. My mother raised me as a single mom and was my Super Mom. Now I get to see the fruit of her love in the way I raise my children. And in their eyes, I am their Super Dad.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
It is my truest and most important honor. I was not raised with my father, but my mother raised me with love, strength and sacrifice. I strive to give my children what she gave me. A home where they feel loved, supported and capable of becoming anything. They are innocent and full of possibility. I believe God gave me the responsibility to guide them, while giving me the chance to become the man I was meant to be. They give me purpose.
How would you use the $25,000?
It’s been a rough 20 months, I’m learning the real estate industry and this process takes time. We haven’t been able to travel. Besides paying some debts I would plan a trip for them to either to Europe or Dominican Republic.
