The most rewarding part is knowing that I get to be one of the most important people in my daughter’s life. Delilah is still so young, but becoming her dad has already changed the way I look at everything. Watching her grow, seeing her little personality develop, and knowing she feels safe in my arms is something I can’t put a price on. I get to spend the rest of my life loving her, teaching her, protecting her, and watching her become her own person.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my daughter deserves the best version of me. I know I won’t always get everything right, but I want Delilah to grow up never questioning whether her dad loves her, supports her, or will be there when she needs him. Becoming a father has given me a completely different sense of purpose. I want to lead by example and show her what it means to work hard, treat people well, keep your word, and take care of the people you love.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to give my family a little more breathing room and invest in Delilah’s future. With a newborn, daycare and everyday expenses add up incredibly fast. Part would go toward those expenses and building a stronger emergency fund so we have more financial security. Most importantly, I’d put a meaningful portion away for Delilah’s future. Winning would be amazing, but what would mean the most is turning that money into something that continues helping my daughter for years to come.
