Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I’ve seen the difference that a good father makes. It is the difference between a child who can regulate his emotions and loves to learn and help others and a child who is so wrapped up in digital distractions and self-indulgence that he struggles to find joy in anything but immediate hedonism. I am the reason that my children will thrive and overcome the many challenges that life will present. I get to be their inner voice that tells them they can and will do it.
How would you use the $25,000?
Fatherhood isn’t just about our own kids. It’s about impact in our local community. I would use the money to launch a local sports mentorship program for fatherless youth. Sports offer a powerful avenue for teaching resilience and healthy emotional management. I want to provide free equipment, instruction, and a positive environment for kids lacking a consistent male role model. This fund would help build an active community where kids can learn, play, and connect with mentors.
