“I don’t try to be a perfect dad. I try to be the dad they’ll understand better when they’re older. Present. Protective. Loving. Human enough to admit when I’m wrong, strong enough to keep showing up when life gets heavy. If they grow up knowing Dad never stopped trying, I did something right.
