The most rewarding part of being a dad is coming home after a long day at work and having all three of my boys excited to see me at the door. Nothing beats that feeling. I also love watching them grow, learn, and succeed at things we’ve worked hard on together. Seeing their confidence build and watching them become their own little people makes all the long days, challenges, and sacrifices worth it. Knowing I get to help shape the men they’ll become is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
As great as my childhood was in many ways, getting older has made me realize how much hardship my family went through. I wouldn’t change my upbringing because it helped shape the man and father I am today. I strive to be a good dad because I want my boys to experience all the good parts of childhood while protecting them from some of the struggles I had to face.
How would you use the $25,000?
$25,000 would honestly be life-changing for our family right now. We’ve been working hard to buy a home for our boys, but for the past few months we’ve struggled to get everything to line up financially. I would use the money toward a down payment and finally give our family a place we can truly call our own.
