After being left to raise five children on my own, I often wondered if I was enough. Today, seeing my children become loving spouses, devoted parents, strong workers, and people of faith is the greatest reward I could ever receive. Their success isn't measured by trophies or titles. It's knowing they grew into good people who love God, love family, and still tell me they're proud to call me Dad.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
When my world fell apart, my children were watching. I lost confidence, lost a job, and heard people doubt whether I could hold everything together. Every night I listened to Psalms and found the strength to keep going. I strive to be the best dad I can be because my children deserve an example of faith, resilience, and unconditional love. I want them to know that no matter what life brings, you never quit on the people you love.
How would you use the $25,000?
The $25,000 would be life-changing for my family. After a layoff, I returned to school to finish my education degree so I could create a better future for my children. That decision came with debt, aging vehicles, and home repairs we've had to postpone. This money would help relieve financial pressure, reduce debt, make needed repairs, and provide greater stability for our family of nine, allowing me to focus more on building a future and less on surviving the present.
