Watching my little girl find her voice and her personality has been amazing. Shes becoming a little version of my wife and I’m the luckiest man to have two of them. I love watching her finally dance to my 2000’s rap in her car seat too. She’s already got great taste in music. I can’t wait to show her everything and teach her lessons that Dad had to learn the hard way so she won’t have to.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
That’s what my wife and daughter deserve from me. Seeing them laugh and enjoy life is why I continue to strive to be the best dad I can be. I strive to show up every day and try. That was in our wedding vows and I will follow through on that no matter what. Being the best dad starts with being the best husband.
How would you use the $25,000?
Our family business fell into bankruptcy and sell and I took a pay cut to stay. I’ve got to provide after all. With $25k I will use it for a lot (it’s $25k after all). I will use it for a LONG overdue beach vacation with my girls, contribute to my daughters 529 college fund (I’ve been unable since the pay cut), fix my wife’s car (damn curbs come out of nowhere), start saving for a new car of my own so I can give it to my girl in 15 years (current has 300k miles) and buy myself a cold IPA or two
