The most rewarding thing is knowing I have a chance to raise my kids up to be good people in today’s world. Being I have two boys it’s very rewarding to be able to push the envelope on expectations on these young lives in hopes that they will become good men. And on a shorter note it’s rewarding walking through the door to those smiling faces everyday. That means the world to me. The reward is knowing I’m making a difference in my kids lives for the good.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
God has been so good to me. My whole live I’ve tried to embody the lifestyle of being a reflection of Christ since we all were made in his image. And now that I have my own kids it’s surreal being they look just like me! haha. I just want my kids to grow up and make a difference in the world guys. Even if that difference is them just following their own dreams. I just want to help whatever their dreams are come into fruition and understand they are loved unconditionally.
How would you use the $25,000?
Me and my wife started a food truck the beginning of 2020. We weren’t aware that Covid was gonna become a pandemic. That made it harder for us to see progress. Then we were informed that the food truck was out of code and it was a good bit of change to get it back up to speed. It’s been sitting in storage since. It’s our dream to have our own successful family business and this opportunity would be a blessing for us to be able to revamp our business now rather than later.
