The most rewarding part is the little moments I know I’ll miss someday—their laughter, the questions they ask, cooking together, bedtime talks, and hearing “Dad, come look!” when they’re excited about something. Being their dad gives me a front-row seat to watching two little girls become who they’re meant to be. Knowing they feel safe, loved, and proud to call me Dad is the greatest reward I could ever have.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I know they’re learning what love, responsibility, and character look like by watching me. I want my daughters to know that a good man shows up, works hard, keeps his word, admits when he’s wrong, and takes care of his family. I’m not a perfect dad. I just want to be the dad they can always count on.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d put $10,000 toward my truck loan, freeing up $575 every month. That money would go straight toward my girls— healthier groceries, vitamins, and being able to take them out for a nice dinner without stressing about the bill.
