I love everything about being a dad. I'm lucky enough to be able to take my kids to school, pick them up, and coach them in any sport they do, including soccer, football, golf, and gymnastics. I love seeing them learn new things and love how happy they get when they succeed. The most rewarding part is the love they give back to me. When it's bedtime, getting to hold them in my arms and tell them how much they are loved is the best way to end every day.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My wife works in the office and has 3 hours of commuting every day, so I get the kids ready for school, pick them up, get them to practice, cook dinner, and often times put them to bed. I work full time, so juggling this can be difficult, but I am always at my happiest when I'm with them, so the everyday stresses melt away once we are together. I want them to know every day that they are loved, that they are special, and that they'll always have me to talk to, cry to, or just get advice.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to make sure they are set up for success now and in the future. I'd spend some to remodel their rooms, as they have a very small bedroom that needs space for their clothes and toys. I'd take the rest and start some college/savings funds so that they are financially stable once they decide to enter college or the workforce. So many kids start their lives out with dept, but I don't want money to be a stress in their lives if I can help it.
