Being Hazen’s dad is rewarding because he gives every sacrifice, long day, and difficult moment a purpose. He’s the reason I keep pushing myself to become stronger, work harder, and be better—not just for me, but for him. Watching him grow, laugh, learn, and become his own little person is something I’ll never take for granted. I get to be the one he looks to for safety, guidance, and love. Being his dad isn’t just a responsibility—it’s one of the greatest blessings of my life
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Being Hazen’s dad is one of Jehovah’s greatest blessings in my life. As a single dad and a man of faith, I strive to be my best because I know he’s watching, learning, and growing from my example. I want him to always feel loved, protected, supported, and never alone. I may not be perfect, but I’ll keep showing up, making sacrifices, and becoming a better man so I can give him the father he deserves\. One day, I hope he knows Dad never stopped fighting for him
How would you use the $25,000?
I wouldn’t see the $25,000 as mine—it would be Hazen’s. I’d treat it as a responsibility to protect and grow for his future. I’d prioritize his education, savings, health, emergencies, and opportunities to learn and grow. My goal would be to make every dollar benefit him and provide security and opportunities for the life ahead of him.
