Knowing that I’m investing in my kids future not with just money & resources, but with values and mindset. From working out in front of them and showing what perseverance looks like or getting back up when you fall down multiple times and not giving up. Also, when you hear your oldest child, start talking like you and both good in bad ways, it shows they’re watching and learning from us.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
They’re like sponges and they will emulate what we do tenfold. And if we want them to stand on our shoulders and do better. We need to transform through the struggles we go through or else it gets transferred to them. Your daughter will marry a man like you and your son become a man like you are you OK with that? I asked myself that every day.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d buy the minivan at my wife doesn’t want. Haha just kidding. It go into either investments for the kids education accounts, or we use that to create memories, but that would lead to campfire stories for the rest of the lives.
