The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my sons grow into confident, compassionate young men while knowing I played a meaningful role in that journey. Every conversation, every lesson, every hug, and every moment we spend together is an investment in who they’ll become. Nothing compares to hearing them say they’re proud of me or seeing them apply the values I’ve worked so hard to teach them. Fatherhood has made me a better man, not just a better dad.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my sons deserve a father who is present, intentional, and dependable. I also know that many children grow up without consistent father figures, and I want my life to show what’s possible when a father chooses to show up every day. My commitment to my sons inspired me to create Daddy Everyday, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering fathers and strengthening families. Being the best dad I can be isn’t just for my children, but an example to other fathers.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to create more opportunities for fathers and families through Daddy Everyday. The funding would help expand free fatherhood workshops, co-parenting classes, mentoring programs, and family events while purchasing educational materials and outreach resources to reach more dads in need. A portion would also help us move closer to opening a dedicated community space where fathers and families can learn, grow, and build stronger relationships together.
