Watching her pick up on the things we teach her so quickly has to be one of my most rewarding things about being a dad. For example, she was singing her alphabet and 11 months old and loves to singing her favorite songs on repeat like, twinkle, twinkle little star. This brings joy to my heart every day. The biggest reward for me is seeing her excitement every day I come home from work, that just melts my heart.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can because my father wasn’t always present in my life. I want to be an active father to show my daughter what a good man should be for his family. She will see that in how I step up for her every day, and by how I treat her mother like a queen. I always want to be better than the next day and I want to install that kind of drive and motivation in my daughter so that she can be better prepared for life.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use this money for food and bills, and our mortgage. I want to place my family in a comfortable position financially and fill up the cabinets with all the snacks my daughter enjoys. I would also buy my baby girl some clothes and toys and something for my lovely wife. Since I’m always thinking of our future, I’d also store some money away for my daughters college fund and our savings.
