The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching your kids grow into young adults and seeing the fruits of everything you poured into them. I still love watching them sleep at night, knowing they’re safe and happy. And knowing you have these little people looking up to your every move? That’s a whole different kind of responsibility. It’s literally one of the coolest things on the planet.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Being better than I was the day before. Sometime it can be frustrating but to help your kid acknowledge there mistakes and do better the next opportunity is awesome. And I learn from my 1st go around that even though you may not think they hear your or pay attention. they actually do. With my oldest use to get discouraged but now that she 19 in the Navy and married. I realized she was listening to my every word she just had to go her own path to get there. Now this time l learned to stay patient
How would you use the $25,000?
If I had $25,000, I’d use it to buy land where my whole family could be together on one piece of property. A place where my kids can grow up knowing they always have somewhere to come home to, where family gatherings become memories, not just plans. I’d also use part of it to pay down the debt that keeps us from getting there. I’m not looking for anything fancy. I just want to build something lasting for my family.
