The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching Xavier and Emma grow into their own unique personalities. Xavier has autism and ADHD, so milestones that may seem small to others can feel enormous to us. Seeing him overcome challenges, communicate his needs, and find confidence makes me incredibly proud. Watching Emma learn, laugh, and look up to her big brother brings me just as much joy. Knowing I get to guide, protect, and love them through every stage is the greatest reward of my life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because Xavier and Emma deserve a father who is present, patient, dependable, and loving. Parenting Xavier through autism and ADHD has taught me to listen differently, celebrate every victory, advocate for his needs, and meet him where he is. Emma also watches and learns from everything I do, so I want to model kindness, hard work, and perseverance. I’m not a perfect dad, but I keep learning and showing up because they are worth my very best.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would invest the $25,000 into college funds for Xavier and Emma. With Xavier’s autism and ADHD, I know his educational path may require extra support, flexibility, and resources. I want both of my children to have the freedom to pursue college, job training, or whatever path helps them thrive without finances limiting their opportunities. This prize would not just help us today—it would become a long-term investment in their education, independence, and future.
