Watching my kids become their own people. I love seeing their personalities, interests and sense of humor develop, and knowing I get to be there for all of it. Whether we're fixing something together, going on an adventure, laughing over something ridiculous, or just talking about life, those little moments mean everything to me. Nothing beats hearing “Dad!” and knowing I’m the person they trust, look up to and know will always show up for them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my kids only get one childhood, and I want to make it count. I know they’re watching how I handle work, stress, relationships, mistakes and everything in between. I’m not a perfect dad, but I want them to see someone who keeps learning, owns his mistakes and always comes back stronger. More than anything, I want each of my kids to grow up knowing they were loved, supported and worth showing up for every single day.
How would you use the $25,000?
The very first thing I’d do is book a family vacation to Disneyland. With four kids, a trip like that isn’t something we can easily afford, and being able to give them that experience would mean everything to me. I want to see their faces, make those memories together and give them a trip they’ll talk about for years. After that, I’d use the rest to pay down debt and give our family a little more financial breathing room. Disneyland comes first. The memories are what matter most to me.
