Teaching my kids things and seeing them put it to work. Their memories are triggered and I see them do something I thought them and it surprises me.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My dad stepped out on our family when I was in the 3rd grade. It was a hard childhood for my brothers and myself. I promised my kids I will be here until the next life. Teach them skills that involves use of tools and their hands.
How would you use the $25,000?
Open 2 accounts 1 for each one of my kids and put in 10k each. Use 5k for a small local vacation for some RV camping, some good food while on that vacation and some new clothes and boots for my boys. I wouldn't use the money for any personal gain. As I work and the money I make provides what we need. I missed out on a traditional college education, I had no choice but to get to work to support myself. I hope to be able to provide that opportunity for my 2 boys. Because higher education is key..
