The most rewarding part is knowing that my son will never have to question whether he is loved, supported, or wanted. Watching him grow, hearing his laugh, comforting him when he cries, and being there for the little moments means everything to me. I get to experience life through his eyes, and every milestone reminds me why being his dad is the greatest responsibility and privilege I’ve ever had.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I want to give my son the childhood, love, stability, and presence every child deserves. I’m the dad I never had, and that motivates me every day. I want my son to grow up knowing that no matter how difficult life gets, his dad will show up, work hard, protect him, listen to him, and love him unconditionally. I’m not trying to be perfect I’m trying to be present and give him a better foundation than I had.
How would you use the $25,000?
We originally got our home with our son in mind to give him a place he can grow up knowing is his. If I won $25,000, I would put it toward paying off the home and creating even more stability for my family. To me, this wouldn’t just be $25,000. It would mean fewer financial worries, more security, and the opportunity to give my son a home that he can always come back to. One day, I want him to look back and know that everything I did was to give him a safe, loving place to call home.
