Watching my son become his own little person. Every new word, joke, question, skill, and adventure lets me see the world again through his eyes. The best part is knowing that years from now, some of the ordinary moments we share today may become the memories that shaped who he is.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my son only gets one childhood, and I only get one chance to be his dad through it. I want him to grow up knowing he was deeply loved, that his dad showed up, and that he always had someone in his corner. If I can give him confidence, curiosity, kindness, and a sense that anything is possible, I’ll have done my most important job well.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use it to invest in my son’s future while creating memories with him now: education, activities that help him discover what he loves, and experiences that let us explore the world together. I’d also set a portion aside for his future, so the prize keeps giving long after the contest is over.
