Seeing my children become responsible adults. Raising their own children, supporting them, teaching them right from wrong, teaching them proper manners. My children were raised right, and it shows in my grandchildren's growth. Life is not perfect, my children may not be perfect, but I am proud of how they are self sufficient and great role models for their children.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I am old and old school. I learned at a young age that hard work and effort pays off in life. I will never forget what my 8th grade baseball coach said to me at our year end sports banquet. I received an award for what the coaches deemed the Best Team Player on the team. They explained that this award was not for the most talented player, was not for the mvp player of the team. The award was for the player that in games, in practices and as a teammate gave 110% every day. That has stuck with me.
