Watching the kids learn new skills and lessons. The warmth and love I’m greeted with at the door when coming home from work. The lessons learned in patience and development. Watching my wife handle the kids with grace and seeing the light they bring to her life. The sweetness that my daughter (oldest) has towards my son (youngest). Watching them create relationships with other kids.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My mother always said “everyone loves their kids but I love mine more.” And I never understood that until I became a father myself. That’s my ‘why’ in life. To give my kids the best childhood and prepare them as best I can for the ups and downs in life to become good, moral human beings and productive members of society.
How would you use the $25,000?
We live in a 100+ year old starter home and this would help substantially in clearing a small amount of family debt, adding to our emergency fund and work towards a down payment on our forever home.
