To me the most rewarding part of being a dad is seeing the happiness in my child’s eyes, from the most simple things. Just sitting and playing matchbox cars, or teaching him new things. The way his eyes light up and the smile he has when I just get home from work. Just seeing my son happy can turn the worst day into the best day. It’s the happiness that gets me through every week.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I grew up in a divided home. My father was involved in my life but couldn’t always be there or do everything for me. I promised myself that when I had children of my own that I would always make things work in my marriage for them, and always be there for them when they need me, no matter how busy I was. I believe a strong father raises strong kids, and the way the world is now every child needs a strong father to help them be successful in life.
