Knowing that being there for my kids offers them something I never had gives me a feeling I can’t describe. Being that support for them, whether it’s picking them up after a fall or just being a human tree to climb on, there’s nothing else in life like that.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I didn’t meet my father until I was 12 years old. I could have been a statistic but instead I told myself one day I’m gonna be a Dad and I’m gonna be there for my kids. Thats a promise i intend to keep.
How would you use the $25,000?
This year we will be purchasing our first home through Habitat for Humanity. With this money I could afford to properly furnish my kids new bedrooms and pay to get them into extra curricular activities we thus far haven’t been able to afford. There is a local dance school we want to put my daughter in and a martial arts school my son wants to join.
