The most rewarding part about being a Dad is watching my kid grow up and be a better person than I was and seeing how smart he is and the obstacles he faces everyday and has overcome many obstacles. Also, the fact that he calls me all the time to just talk or ask questions or just to bug me in general.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I saw how hard my father worked to give us a better life and I’ve always tried to be there for my kid no matter what as much as I could and sacrificed what I could to make sure my kid had his dad around and to provide him a better life than what I had growing up. We always strive to make sure our kids are better off than we were growing up and that’s how I want to prepare my kid and his future.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use some of it to pay off some of his car and of course debt and I would take part of it and put it into a savings account for him that he could use later in life when decides he wants to have a family so they can have a nest egg. Something I didn’t have so he doesn’t have to struggle as a young adult. I’d also use it towards his college as well so he wouldn’t have to worry about his schooling.
