Seeing my 18-year-old daughter Abi carve out her future and watching my 14-year-old son Ty grind through middle school wrestling. The most rewarding part is knowing that the grit I learned in the Marine Corps and put into my work as a powerline technician translates into strength and stability for them. Being their steady anchor through every win and hard lesson is everything.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
As a Marine Corps veteran and a senior powerline technician, I've learned that leadership is about actions, not words. I strive to be the best dad because my kids—Abi and Ty—deserve someone who never quits, no matter how tough the job or long the hours. I want them to inherit that same unyielding work ethic, discipline, and resilience.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to solidify my family’s future: supporting my kids' education and activities, investing directly into growing my startup business, and creating long-term financial security. It would give us extra breathing room to focus on what matters most without constant financial strain.
