The most rewarding part is watching them slowly figure out the world and realizing that my wife and I are building a safe place for them to land. It’s those quiet, ordinary moments—a spontaneous hug, a shared laugh over a terrible dad joke, or seeing them show kindness to someone else because they saw it at home. Knowing that all the chaos, discipline, and endless routine are actually shaping good, happy humans makes every single hard day completely worth it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
As a man of faith, I try to emulate the ultimate Father, even when I fall short. More than anything, I want my kids to see a regular, imperfect guy who works hard, cares for our home, supports my wife, and shows up every single day. If they see that a normal man can build a life of love and service, they’ll know they can do it too.
How would you use the $25,000?
A $25,000 win would let us tackle a few major milestones. We’d invest a portion into upgrading our home space and planning a proper family getaway to reward the kids. The remainder would go straight toward financial breathing room and savings, giving us the peace of mind to keep focusing on our local community projects and family adventures.
