I have wanted to be a father for a long period of time, and i believe i literally have the perfect child for. He is not perfect by any means, but he works hard in school in sports and in being a good friend and good brother-cousin. Me and my son spend a ton of time together and my most rewarding thing as a father is seeing him grow and become his own little person, writing his first published book at 6/7(😓) years old. And he loves competing in sports and loves being with friends in any capacity
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best father incan be be because i know im raising a child that will be a man in the future. Being an adult male comes with lots of trials and my main goal is to raise a well rounded, compassionate, empathetic, hard working, brave courageous young man. The only way to do that is by leading with those same traits. I cant expect my son to grow and become an honorable man with out the right guidance and role model. I strive to be the man I want my son to be.
How would you use the $25,000?
I coach two high school sports, i am a head coach in baseball and assistant coach in football. I also coach my sons football and baseball teams. If i would win this prize, i would sponsor my sons baseball team and fund some of my students and players at the school I teach and coach at. Being in a lower economic area, our students and players sometimes need materials, or clothing or even food. I would use the prize to help my sons teams and help my students.
