Seeing the joy on my son’s face after he sees me do something, then copies and repeats it lol. Seeing how he wants to be just like me from the way I talk, how I dress and even wanting to workout and exercise like me. His excitement, joy and eagerness to learn even the smallest things, makes me feel complete, like I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing as his father.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
One of my greatest motivations to be the best father I can be is knowing what it felt like to grow up without my dad being there the way I needed him to be. I missed out on moments and memories that I’ll always wish I had. When I found out I was going to be a father, I made a promise to myself that I would break that cycle. My son will always know that his dad showed up, stood beside him, believed in him, and loved him every step of the way.
How would you use the $25,000?
The first thing I’d do is put $15,000 into a college savings account for my son. He’s loved Paw patrol & SpongeBob forever, so my wife and I have dreamed of taking him to the Nickelodeon Resort, that'd be an unforgettable family vacation. I honestly entered this contest hoping to create a special memory with my son, the thought of us being featured in a commercial together is really cool. Also ill make sure to do something nice for his mom, because there’s no Super Dad without a Super Mom.
