Watching my children succeed even after they have failed at their goals, but never given up. Their persistence is amazing. My children are some of the most resilient children I’ve ever met. They never let someone telling them no get in their way, when there is an obstacle they either go around it or plow straight through it. They are truly my hero heroes.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I try to be the best because that’s what they deserve. They deserve a mother and the father, who was always there for them and sometimes they need that person that could tell to him straight no sugarcoating anything but ultimately I do it because I want them to be better than me. I want them to be the best version of themselves. And when I am long gone, I went down to look back and say my dad did the best he could for me.
How would you use the $25,000?
We would take a long deserved family vacation, one that we haven’t been able to take since they were kids because of life, bills, the military, and all of our schedules. They were all babies the last time that we got to get away as a family.
