The most rewarding part of being a dad to Chloe and Georgia is the way they love me so completely. To them, I’m their hero. Nothing compares to Chloe climbing into my arms, telling me she loves me, or Georgia laying her head on my chest and curling up because that’s where she feels safe. Watching them grow, laugh, learn, and become their own little people is incredible. Being their dad gives me a purpose bigger than myself. I get to be their protector and their safe place.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can because I want my daughters to know what real love looks and feels like. I want the way I treat them to set the standard for how they expect to be treated by others, with love, respect, patience, and kindness. I also want them to know that when life gets hard, they’ll never have to face it alone. No matter how old they get or what they’re going through, Dad will always be there to listen, support them, protect them, and love them unconditionally.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to pay down some credit card debt and create a little more financial stability for my family. Most importantly, I would put a portion into savings for both of my daughters and their futures. Whether it eventually helps with college, their first car, or simply gives them a head start in life, knowing I was able to provide something meaningful for them would mean more to me than anything I could spend the money on for myself.
