The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my kids grow and knowing I get to help shape who they become. I spend my days caring for others as an RN and serving my community as a firefighter, but nothing compares to coming home and simply being Dad. Knowing they look up to me pushes me to be a better man, husband, and father. At the end of the day, raising them, loving them, and giving them a life they can be proud of is my greatest purpose.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids deserve the best version of me. I want them to grow up knowing they were always loved, supported, protected, and important. I want to lead by example and teach them that strength means working hard, serving others, loving your family, and never giving up when life gets tough. More than anything, I want them to look back someday and know that no matter how busy life got, being their dad was always my greatest privilege.
