No matter how my day at work has gone, good or bad, my kids always run up to me and yell “daddy” with open arms. I love that performance doesn’t matter to them as much as presence. They increase my faith every day and love unconditionally! Plus, having little mini-me’s who run around and think you’re a real life superhero is pretty sweet, too.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I have a great dad as my role model. I realize the kind of childhood he gave me and I want to give as much of that to my kids as I possibly can. Also, I owe it to them to give them everything I have each day. I’m thankful that even when I mess up, they love me the same.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would love to give back to the church, pay off some student loans, and take my family to Disney World. We currently have two kids who are obsessed with Toy Story and every Disney princess! It would be so fun to get to see their faces light up as they meet all their favorite characters!
