I operate heavy equipment, so my days are long, physical, and take me all over the place. But no matter how tired I am, walking through the door makes it all worth it. My favorite part of being a dad is just being silly with my kids and making them laugh. I’m lucky to have a wife who keeps our home running, even when that means managing our kids, six dogs, and a cat. If seeing my family happy means a full house, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my family is my whole world. My wife and my kids are the reason I get up and put in long hours operating heavy equipment every day. No matter how tired I am after a physical shift, seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter resets me. Everything I do is to build a good life for them, keep them safe, and make sure my wife and kids know just how much they are loved and supported.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won the $25,000, every single cent would go toward a down payment on a home for us. We currently rent, but as a dad, there’s nothing I want more than to give my family a place we actually own. I want a permanent home where our kids can grow up and our dogs have plenty of room to run around. Working long days on the job site is all about building a better life for my wife and kids, and this would put us one huge step closer to that dream.
