For many dads, the most rewarding part is watching your child become their own person and knowing you got to help shape that journey. It’s the little things too. The first time they reach for your hand, hearing them laugh at something silly, teaching them something and realizing they actually listened and there’s a uniquely powerful feeling in being the person your child runs toward when they’re excited, scared, proud, or simply need a hug. That is some of the most rewarding parts of being a dad
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My dad is an incredible dad, and throughout every stage of my life, I’ve always strived to be better than him at everything including being a dad. Being a dad isn’t something you can put a grade on, but if it were, I’d be chasing that A+ every single day. Not because I want to outdo my dad, but because he set the bar so high for me. I’m just trying to be the kind of dad my kids will be proud of someday.
How would you use the $25,000?
God forbid there would be any emergencies that I would need it for. I would like to put the $25000 into a savings account and split it between my kids to use towards college or help them buy their first house. But the temptation to use a little bit for a family vacation is always there!
