The most rewarding thing about being a dad is seeing my daughter smile and hearing her laugh. No matter how bad my day is, her happiness makes everything else disappear. I love seeing pieces of myself in the things she says and does, knowing she is watching and learning from me. Most of all, watching her grow, learn, and become the amazing person she is meant to be reminds me that being a good dad isn’t something I do for myself—I do it for her.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because life is short, and every moment with my daughter matters. I want her to grow up knowing she was deeply loved, always safe, and capable of anything. I want the memories we make and the example I set to stay with her long after she grows up. Someday, when she has a family of her own, I hope the love, strength, and confidence I gave her live on through the person and parent she becomes.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won $25,000, I’d put it away for my daughter and her future. Whether she uses it for college, to start a business, to help others, or to build a life for her own family one day, it’s hers. My wife and I work incredibly hard to give her every opportunity we can. Having that money set aside would ease that burden and, more importantly, give us something money can’t buy back which is more time with her.
