The most rewarding part of being a dad is getting to watch my son grow, learn, and accomplish new things every day. Seeing him take his first steps, learn new words, and start talking has been amazing. But more than anything, it’s seeing the smile on his face and knowing that the little things we do together can make him so happy. Being there for every milestone and creating memories together is something I’ll always cherish.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad and boyfriend I can be because of the way I grew up. My parents were separated, and growing up between two different households, I remember how difficult it could be feeling like I had to please both parents and sometimes feeling like the middleman. I never want my son to feel that way. I want to give him a stable, loving household where he knows that his parents are there for him, where he never has to worry about feeling responsible for keeping everyone happy.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I were fortunate enough to receive $25,000, I would use it to provide my family with a decent, stable home where my son, his mother, and I can create lasting memories together. I would also pay off some of our bills to relieve financial stress and make it easier to provide for my family. Most importantly, I would put a good portion of the money away for my son’s future. I want him to have something waiting for him that he can use for whatever he chooses when he gets older.
