It's difficult to choose one thing, so I'll make a list: WHEN- They run up to hug me when I get home from work - They tell I'm the coolest dad - I see true joy on their faces and hear it in their laughter - They have successes, feel pride, and can't wait to tell me - I see their personalities shaping into the people they're going to be - I ask what they're thankful for at dinner and they always say "my family" - I realize caring about setting an example for them is making me a better man.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I often wonder where I'd be if I had a dad like I am now. I know the impact dads make very personally. They deserve my best, so they can reach their potential and grow up fulfilled and proud. Every dad wants to be great. What separates dads is not what they do, necessarily, but what they sacrifice; what they give up choosing family. The changes they make personally to set a better example. I know I fall short. I'll never be close to the man they believe me to be now, but I'll keep trying.
How would you use the $25,000?
First, I would tell them I won $25k for being rad and have them make lists of how they think we should spend it. Then I'd have AI create a fake bet slip showing I lost it all betting on baseball. Hopefully, this teaches a lesson about the perils of gambling while also creating hilarious cinema. We'd then spend every dime strictly on fun and record everything we do and buy and post all the content on a page for everyone involved in Super Dad to enjoy. This would be memory-money, not smart-money.
