The best part of being a dad is the simple joy of being the go-to guy when things break, showing the kids how to fix things with the right tool and a smile. It’s the rush of excitement when I walk through the door after being away, reminding me just how much I'm loved. And it’s those spontaneous trips to the hardware store, turning an errand into a chance to teach, build, and dream up our next big project together.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
It comes back to the man who set the bar for me. My dad is my hero. Trips to the hardware store to build onto my playground, mend a fence, or patch a busted pipe taught me practical skills, but his greatest lesson was deeper: never be afraid of something just because you don’t know how to do it yet, you’ve gotta just try.
How would you use the $25,000?
Winning the $25,000 would turn our home into the ultimate family hub. I’d build an awesome custom backyard playground for the kids, invest in top-quality outdoor tools to tackle every project, and spruce up our garage with smart storage and a workbench so it’s the perfect dry play place and workshop on rainy days. Ultimately, this prize wouldn't just buy materials; it would build the backdrop for our family's best moments for years to come.
