The best part of being a dad is the moments when you’ve questioned whether you’re doing a good job, wondered if you’ve taught them enough, loved them enough, or prepared them well—and then you watch your child make a great decision, handle a difficult situation with wisdom, or navigate life well. In that moment, you realize: they were listening, they were learning, and somehow, by God’s grace, you helped prepare them for this.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I had a great dad. He was my best friend and a constant support and strength in my life. When I lost him, I was already a dad of young kids and I knew I wanted to do for them what he did so consistently for me.
How would you use the $25,000?
Honestly. At the place in my life where the focus on longterm and freedom in the future. So I would add it to our investments to secure a legacy one day to pass down to my girls.
