The most rewarding part of being a father is being able to share my life experiences with my girls while also being a part of their life experiences like my parents were to mine. Whether it’s hearing the excitement over just learning to ride a bike without training wheels or the belly laugh from just goofing around. Being present in their lives is what makes everyday a reward.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I want my daughters to grow up knowing they are deeply loved, protected, supported, and capable of anything. I want them to see me work hard, keep my word, admit when I’m wrong, and treat their mom and others with respect. I want them to look back someday and remember that Dad was always there for the big moments, the little moments, the hard days, and the ones filled with laughter. Everyday is another chance to be a better dad.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won the prize money, I’d use it to make memories with my family and give my daughters experiences they can remember.I’d take my wife and girls on a special family trip, while obviously saving some money toward their future. I spend so much of my time making sure my family has what they need, but with this money I may be able to give a little extra and take part in creating new memories.
