The most rewarding part about being a dad is realizing that you get to witness a person become who they were meant to be. It’s watching the little moments that you know you’ll never get back—the first steps, the funny questions, the late-night conversations, the hugs that come out of nowhere, and even the moments when they challenge everything you thought you knew about parenting.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my children are watching, learning, and becoming who they are partly through what I show them. I want my daughters to know what love, consistency, hard work, accountability, and resilience look like. I don't have to be a perfect father—I just want to be a present one. I want them to grow up knowing that they are loved, supported, capable, and worthy of chasing whatever dreams they have.
How would you use the $25,000?
I'd put some of the money toward my daughters' futures, because I want this blessing to continue working for them long after the contest is over. I'd put some into family savings and money into improving our home and creating a space where our family can continue making memories. I'd also spend some of the funds on a family adventure.
