What your kids succeed or overcome adversity. Being a part of their growth and development. Witnessing the everyday little moment of joy, seeing their faces light up and being there to support and comfort during difficult times
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Everyday, all day but especially when I recognize one of my kids might be a feeling a bit off or down. I lean in to my nature traits as an empathic leader and put myself in their shoes. Sometimes my kids don't want a solution, they just want to feel heard understood and validated just like adults.
How would you use the $25,000?
With the rising cost of living and college expenses I would use $5k each to superfund each child's 529 to hopefully grow to better subsidize college tuition in 2036 thru 2046. With the remaining $10k I will donate between two local charities of my daughters' choosing (the Love and Kindness Foundation and the Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry).
