The true reward is being able to see your child utilize the morals of the stories told, laying the foundation of knowledge learned, and the witnessing the fortitude of their heart as they shape their personality and soul. Whether it's with a nail that is driven or a seed that is planted, each application of a father's lesson will ensure he will have the blueprint for a successful future.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Regardless of whether we are camping under the stars, taking a walk through the woods, or showing him how to safely use a table saw, his experiences and lessons will be the cornerstone of a self-sufficient life. I will strive to provide the mentorship and patience, so that I may see the good man that I raised.
How would you use the $25,000?
This money will open the door for new adventures together and to aid in the expansion of his knowledge as he continues to grow. Due to a diagnosis of autism, there will be hills that he will need to climb and a more arduous journey than most. My hope is that this would soften his load and keep the hills from become mountains.
