For me it is all about seeing my kids succeed and being there for them when they need a slight nudge in the right direction. I want to let them know it’s ok to fail as long as they learn from it and get better every time. There is no better feeling in the world than seeing your kid walk into a challenge, uncertain about the outcome, but having the intestinal fortitude to face it head on. I want my kids to feel loved and know they can trust me to show up for them always.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My dad is my hero and I strive to live up to his example everyday. It is too common to see kids being raised by devices and the act of parenting seems to be a lost art these days. I refuse to give into that way of thinking. I also strive to be the best dad I can be so my kids can see how important it is to try everyday to have a positive impact on those around you and go out of your way to make others better. Being a dad can be hard. But it is so worth it.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would love to use the money to create a fun/safe outdoor space that my kids and their friends would enjoy. I would want to find a way to use it as a blessing to others.
