First of all, loving my family and knowing that they love me just as much. Next is being able to teach my kids skills that took me years to learn, putting them ahead of the curve. Also, being able to use those skills to provide for my family and giving them the life that they deserve. It means so much to me when my kids actually want to spend time with me while we work on and fix things. We work on our vehicles, house, income properties, and help others.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My kids are the most important thing to me and the better dad I am, the better husband, wives, parents, and teachers they will be. I want to teach them all of the things I wish I had known when I was growing up. But most importantly, I want my kids to know that I will always be there for them. That I will always be available for whatever they need. That raising them to be good human beings is the most important job I will ever have.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the money to help us start building our forever home. We bought the land on my great grandfather’s farm over a decade ago and haven’t been able to get started building yet. I spent a lot of my childhood running around enjoying that place and I want my kids to get out there and start enjoying the same place that I did. They will have a pond to fish in and a lot of land to do whatever we can come up with. Anything to get them away from a screen!
